The deck of cards I designed was inspired by famous works of art, blending familiarity with originality. As an art enthusiast, I wanted to create a visually striking and engaging deck where each suit represents a different art era—Hearts as Surrealism with Frida Kahlo’s self-portrait, Clubs as Post-Impressionism featuring Van Gogh, Diamonds as Modern Art with Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe, and Spades as the Renaissance with Michelangelo. Each card highlights a different artist from its respective period, while the Joker is Picasso’s self-portrait. This deck offers a bold, vibrant twist on a traditionally refined and sometimes predictable concept.
